The DELMARVA POWER ENERGY STAR® for New Homes Program supports the residential new construction industry in building increasingly energy efficient homes and dwelling units in eligible multifamily low/high rise buildings within the DELMARVA POWER service territory. To achieve this goal, the Program offers technical and sales/marketing training and support as well as the following incentives to homebuilders for homes and units that meet and exceed the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) ENERGY STAR Certified Homes requirements.

For Homes permitted ON or AFTER July 1, 2020, the following incentive structure will be in place:
• Multifamily: $400 for ENERGY STAR Version 3.1 certified unit with 100% LED Lighting
• 2-on-2 Condo: $550 for ENERGY STAR Version 3.1 certified unit with 100% LED Lighting
• Townhouse: $750 for ENERGY STAR Version 3.1 certified unit with 100% LED Lighting
• Single Family: $1250 for ENERGY STAR Version 3.1 certified unit with 100% LED Lighting

For Homes that meet any of the criteria above, the following incentives will be available for eligible equipment installed:
• Smart Thermostat: $75 for each eligible smart thermostat installed (up to 4 smart thermostats)
• Air Conditioner: $200 for each eligible air conditioner 16 SEER or above
• Heat Pump: $350 for each eligible heat pump 10 HSPF and 16 SEER or above
• Heat Pump Water Heater: $500 for each eligible heat pump water heater 3.0 UEF or above

The current Program cycle is from January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2023. Applications for DELMARVA POWER's ENERGY STAR for New Homes Program are accepted for each calendar year and should be for homes that will be completed within the year the application is submitted.
